Tina Sheets Owner/Principal Planner
Owner and Principal Event Planner Tina Sheets has been planning and working around events for as long as she can remember. From serving drinks to thirsty crowds at her step fathers business parties at 10 years old, to today where she executes beautiful weddings and social events, planning special events has always been in her blood. In 2013 after spending a couple years at home with her daughter Avery, she decided she was ready to get back to work doing what she loved most, helping people host great events. Combining the things that makes her heart sing, food, décor, design and entertaining, A Simple Affair Events was born. With a strong background in hospitality and marketing, an eye for design, obsession for fashion and some good old fashion know how, Tina brings a strong business sense and a savvy style approach to planning and coordinating events whatever the occasion.
Today, you can find Tina's work featured in publications like Carolina Bride Magazine and Elegant Wedding Magazine and on various wedding blogs such as Bespoke Bride, Trendy Groom and Dream Wedding. She has also been interviewed for articles in Charlotte Weddings and Carolina Bride magazine just to name a few!
When she's not hard at work you will most likely find her outside appreciating the Carolina weather by working in her yard, at The White Water Center, or relaxing with a Cinnamon Dolce Latte and enjoying a good book!
