Tina Sheets Owner/Principal Planner
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Tina Sheets and I can't wait to meet you and learn more about your special event. I was born and raised in Indiana but have called Charlotte home since 1998. I have had an interest in working around events for as long as I can remember.
Being the daughter of an artist, you might say planning and designing events has always been in my blood. As early as 10 years old, I can recall helping my dad serve drinks at his business events and always wanting to find a way to be involved any way I could! In 2013 after spending a couple years at home following the birth of my daughter, I decided I was ready to get back to work doing what I loved most, helping people host great events. Armed with a background in hospitality and marketing, an eye for design, and some good old fashion know how, ASA Events has quickly become one of the go to planning firms in the Carolina's.
When I'm not hard at work you will most likely find me outside appreciating the Carolina weather, relaxing with family and friends or shopping. I mean, what girl doesn't like to shop, right?
Growing up I innately had the right qualities for the hospitality industry but didn’t realize it until I started working events as a server. After that first position and positive feedback from my employers, professors, and peers I realized events was where I was meant to be. I have always had a disposition to help others, a strong sense of style, and lots of positive energy while working with large groups of people. Working my way up from a staff member at an event venue, to an intern at a country club, and many shadowing experiences with the best wedding planners in North Carolina have brought me to where I am today.
